I got this pair of perfect-condition classic '60s Australian-made Parker chairs on the street in Bondi for $0. Love hard rubbish. Still kicking myself for not also grabbing the lounge. Hopefully someone else did and is/was as happy as I am/was when I stumbled across them.
Weird monkey fruit bowl is one of my favourite finds. I love him. He's a numbered edition - 15 of 36 - and is made by Bellini, Italy. Fabulous '70s-era kitsch. The tin toy, Happy Wanderer, was a gift from my sister and her husband.
Keeping calm. Carrying on.
A girl can't help collecting what she loves. Colour, colour and more colour.
Plastic Pernod water jug, to drink with the classic French aperitif, picked up from a great vintage/secondhand store on the way out of North Hobart heading towards Moonah.

Fash mag hag
Ever bought a magazine just for one particualr fashion shoot? I do.
The execution of this shoot from UK Harpers Bazaar drew me in.
And the location - that amazing mid-century modern house! - is the reason why I bought the whole damn magazine. That multi-coloured fringed Tom Ford dress is not bad either.

| What about that Tom Ford dress! |
| Rebecca Hall is the brunette Scarlett Johansson. No wonder Woody Allen cast them both in Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona. |

Moving pictures
Don't forget to put your clocks back. This is what I did with my extra hour this morning: I created a GIF file!

The rainbow connection
Don't be shy! Pile on the colour with this one-off neckpiece.
The multi-colour dyed yarn is tightly wound against firm cotton rope.
It's finished off with wooden beads and tassels, while a totally unexpected tough, chunky chain and industrial-style closure holds it all together at the back.
The double chain is 18cms long; the length of the yarn-wrapped rope (from chain end to metal closure) is 60cm and the length (from where the rope meets the metal links to bottom of the centre tassel) is 40cms.
And, more importantly, this lovingly handmade neckpiece is for sale!
If you are interested shoot me an email here, message me on Facebook, or leave a comment.

The red and the blue
I find jewellery inspiration in the combination of colours anywhere and everywhere. Besides the fact that that blue chaise is absolutely divine, these jewel-toned brights are telling me something...
From Adore online catalogue. This mother-of-pearl and turquoise piece is sold, but I can certainly make similar.
